The Remote Viewer communicates with the Labor and Delivery Central Station, allowing remote viewing and data entry for monitored patients. Remote viewing stations may be placed anywhere inside or outside of the primary care facility, allowing access from offices, clinics or other locations.

  • Nursing staff may chart patient care, labor/delivery and medication administration from the bedside or any Remote Viewer location.
  • Primary care providers can remotely view patient labor progress in real time and enter orders that will appear at the Central Station where they are acknowledged by nursing staff. Audible alerts at the Central Station notify staff of order arrivals.
  • Charting, orders and order acknowledgement become part of the labor documentation.
  • Secure login activity becomes part of the labor documentation.
  • Labor history for up to 9 hours is available in continuous monitoring.

Charting and Orders

  • Chart in these categories: Care Giver, Patient, Labor, Fetal, Meds Given and Delivery. Charting time can be set by user to allow for documenting previous events.
  • Users can chart by selecting from preconfigured category entries or by manual entry.
  • Charting entries may be added to the categories for charting customization.
  • Physicians/CNMs may enter orders from Remote Viewer locations.
  • Chart entries, orders and order acknowledgement become part of the labor documentation and are visible on-screen in real time and history views.

Labor History

  • Patient history can be reviewed from current time back, up to 9 hours, in one minute intervals.
  • Movable cursors, bracketing a one minute interval, provide a numeric readout of Fetal Heart Rate "Long Term Variability", waveform values and maternal vitals.
  • Chart entries, Orders and Notes are annotated in the display.
